Terrine du Chef

This is always our go-to for birthdays. went this last Saturday for my close Belgian friend. Food is always perfect; ambiance is refined and convivial. It is amazing to think I have been here so many times over the last 25 years! We will be back again next weekend for my birthday and I am already deciding what I will order. We love you, Lavendou.

Tournedos Félix Faure

This is delicious! We love this steak with peppercorn and cream sauce. The frys are definitely double fried—extra crispy. This is a a dish not easily made at home. Frankly we are surprised by how low the price is. We also really love the atmosphere and Pascal could not nicer.

If you are wanting pure indulgence in a perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth tenderloin, here it is. Not to mention the velvety Cognac, mushroom, cream sauce with cracked black pepper that takes this incredible tenderloin over the top. It is simply divine. Highly recommended!

Salade César

This Caesar is absolutely one of the best Caesar's I've ever had anywhere in the world! The romaine is ALWAYS fresh and crisp. The dressing has the true subtle hints of garlic and light creaminess with perfectly seasoned croutons and Parmesan. I crave this salad. It's divine!

Les Pâtes du Pécheur

Super food; tasty, good portions and the freshly made bread is great with oil or butter and is something you're munching throughout the meal. Get some cookies to go they're also great especially for a snack at home.

Soufflé au Chocolat

Ok, I drive an hour JUST to have this magnificent Soufflé, sometimes by itself!! No other restaurant in DFW even comes close to matching their perfection of this incredible dessert. The wonderful chocolate sauce along with their incredible creme fraiche makes this a Soufflé that cannot be touched by others. Simply, the best! Don't forget to order at the beginning of your meal!

Pommes Frites

Wherever I go now, I always compare their Pommes Frites to Lavendou's. Lavendou always wins! Slightly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect for soaking up their magnificent sauces too!! Yum

Grilled Vegetables

All of Lavendou's grilled vegetables are perfectly seasoned and cooked to a crisp tender that is not easy to accomplish, but they do it EVERY TIME! Fantastic addition to any meal or by themselves.

Filet au Beurre de Vin Rouge

When I'm truly treating myself, this is my go to. The tenderloins are cooked to tender perfection and the absolutely wonderful Merlot sauce is wickedly good especially when you soak your pommes frites in it for every bite! Pure heaven!!
