Assiette de Canard

First off, I'll admit that I'm a sucker for any dish with duck. That made the choice easy. But Lavendou does a fantastic job with duck--exactly what you'd expect from a French restaurant! Especially the confit is superbly succulent with a nice, rich, crispy thick skin. The duck at Lavendou competes with any restaurant in France! Thank you!

Escargots à la Bourguignonne

I have eaten here a handful of times and it is my top choice for French cuisine in all of DFW. Fantastic food with excellent service. Wonderful selection of wine to chose from too.

Le Dessert du Jour

I was here for my baby shower with 15 other girls including my moms and aunts. We had a blast. A full section we had reserved and everything just everything was beyond perfect. we loved the intimate setting, beautiful decor, amazing food and the deserts were to die for!

Canard Rôti au Cassi

My husband always orders duck when we eat at a French restaurant. This duck surpassed all expectations. It was perfectly cooked and the cherry sauce was delicious. He had the mussels appetizer, and I had the goat cheese salad. My fish was delicious with plenty of crabmeat in a wonderful cream sauce. We also had the chocolate souffle, which was a wonderful way to end our anniversary dinner. Service was also perfect.

I love this restaurant! I think they have the best escargot around. It's a winner, as is the fork-tender filet.

BEST escargots in the DFW area...the garlic butter sauce requires a bit extra bread for dipping. These are prepared in the traditional way, which is the BEST way, which makes them the BEST! Merci...

Tournedos Félix Faure

This was my first time trying this dish and it is made for perfection! The cream sauce topped with mushrooms is so rich and the steak is cooked perfectly. Highly recommend ordering this if you are new to French food and unsure on what to get. Pro Tip; ask for extra mushrooms and sauce! Yum!
